ABOUT US
The Dance Studio ZIG-ZAG tap & swing focuses mainly on dance styles of 20's and 30's.
Leader of studio is Zdeněk Pilecký, choreographer and previous dancer with the ballet
groups of the Musical Theatre Karlín and State Opera Prague.
What We Offer To You
ZIG-ZAG Dance Studio provides several types of activities:
- Public lectures of tap (three levels), jazz, swing combined with acrobatics, Irish
dances, classical ballet, dance repertory of ZIG-ZAG group, individual lessons of
dance techniques, piano and accordion and music theory.
- We lead workshops of these dance techniques for other dance studios and arrange
workshops of tap dance with guests teachers from abroad for students from all over the
Czech Republic.
- Since 1999 we have organized an annual celebration of Tap Dance Day in the Czech
Republic, which is supported by US Cultural Center in Prague.
- Since 1999 we have organized our summer dance school.
- We hold a tap dance competition "Prague Cup".
- The best students of our studio perform at various festive occasions.
